It’s not officially winter yet, of course, but this morning’s freezing temperatures were cold enough for me to consider today the first round of winter golf. And what an exquisite start to the day it was: heavy frost, wispy fog, snow on the mountain, a large heard of elk in their usual place in the meadow opposite Mt. Si Golf Course. On our way to the 10th tee I got this shot of Meodowbrook Slough adjacent to the parking lot.
