Christmas Snow
A real Seattle rarity: a white Christmas. This is what it looked like at first light this morning.
Snowy Start to 2017
I read that it’s the first snowy New Year’s Day in Seattle in some twenty-five or so years. I’m certainly not starting out the year with a round of golf!
Christmas Eve
Wow! Another year gone by just like that. Here we, just taking it easy on Christmas eve.
Christmas Cookies
This year we varied our neighborhood Christmas treats to include brownies and peanut butter blossoms in addition to some traditional iced Christmas cookies. Everything turned out great.
Wet Halloween
With only a couple, short breaks in the rain we had just fifteen trick-or-treat visitors this year. Thus, we have a major left-overs problem:
Chrsitmas Eve
We got a nice break in the weather today; it’s cool with a few peeks of sunshine. Just enough to get a glimpse of the snow on the mountains. We took advantage of the pleasant conditions to deliver our traditional Christmas cookies to the neighbors.

Not exactly a traditional Christmas setting but a lovely day for December 24. We had lots of sun today, no rain and a high temperature around 47 degrees.
