Big Snow

The lovely snowfall that began Sunday afternoon kept up through most of Monday and into Tuesday morning and ended up being one of the heaviest pre-Thanksgiving Seattle snowstorms ever. We measured a little over a foot and Trisha stayed home both days.

Early Snow

It’s a good thing I got some photos of fall leaves earlier this month; today we’re being treated to a beautiful, but early winter snow.  It’s left a delicate white coating on the few remaining leaves and flowers.

Last Fall Leaves

Last night’s storm left us without electricity for some 16 hours.  But with the automatic backup generator we had installed last month we were well prepared.  I took advantage of a short break in the weather late this afternoon to snap a few photos of the very last leaves still clinging to the trees.  This is my favorite: just a little shoot from a Ninebark bush.
