Another Possum Visit
I finally got a reasonable photo of our possum. What a homely critter he is.
Back from Bandon Dunes
I spent Tuesday and Wednesday at Bandon Dunes, playing 36 holes each day. I played OK on the first day, recording my best score ever on Pacific Dunes (85). On Wednesday I was kind of wiped out from a restless night’s sleep and slow play and didn’t do well at all. However, the scenery was as dramatic as ever, even with mostly overcast skies.
Bandon Trails Sunrise
Although Trails is not my favorite Bandon course, it can still be a picturesque setting. This morning’s sunrise was dramatic. Even the starter took a few photos as I prepared to tee off.
More Nocturnal Visitors
The raccoons seem to be visiting nearly every night nowadays (although we’ve also seen an opossum a couple of times as well, but he’s too shy to photograph).
Super Wet October
The odd weather year continues with the wettest October ever for Seattle:Some locales on the coast had more than 20 inches. Officially, North Bend had less than Seattle but my little backyard rain gauges had us over ten inches.
