Off to Colorado

We began our week-long Colorado adventure this morning; leaving a dreary SeaTac. It was quite a surprise when we stepped out of the Denver terminal into temperature in the mid 70s.

Golf Lesson

I gave up waiting for good weather and decided to begin golf lessons anyway. After a three-and-a-half month hiatus, I didn’t feel totally clumsy but there is a lot of work to do. I’ve signed up for a six-month coaching package hoping that regular feedback and guidance will make a difference this season.

Heading Home

On Sunday morning we had an early breakfast with Lisa and Zyg, then headed west from Lajitas through Big Bend Ranch State Park, taking in some final glorious views of the Rio Grande River.

Full Day at Big Bend

We joined up with Lisa and Zyg yesterday afternoon and we all headed out for a the Ross Maxwell Scenic Drive, the best known route through Big Bend. The road includes numerous memorable vistas and ends at the iconic Santa Elena Canyon where the Rio Grande River passes between 1,000-foot canyon walls.

Trisha with Diego

Today was Trisha’s first riding lesson at Equestrian Crossings on Whidbey Island. She hit it off right away with her equine partner Diego. He is a lovely animal.
