To the Wolves

Today we drove with the Radabaugh clan to Wolf Haven in Tenino, WA.  Trisha and I have intended to visit Wolf Haven for years but never got around to making the seventy minute drive.  It was well worth the trip.  The wolves here are largely animals that were “pets” at some point although there are some tenants that are being prepared for release back into the wild.  The guide provided useful general information and details on each animal.  Getting to see these creatures up close was very cool but the highlight of the visit was the haven-wide howl when all the wolves joined into that wonderful eerie song.  Very exciting.
