Ugly…
…but feels great. Forty-eight hours after my surgery my knee feels fine. It’s stiff and puffy but I have zero pain and can motor around the house just fine. I hope the next six weeks go as well at the first two days.
12-13-14: Good Day for Surgery
I see on the news that lots of couples are getting married today; supposedly there’s some luck attached to the consecutive numbers in today’s date. Me, I’m doing arthroscopic meniscectomy. After trying rest, cortisone injections, and tons of workouts we decided to have my right knee scoped. A good outcome has me back on the golf course by mid February. I’m certainly not missing many good golf days right now.
Wierd Weather
The official high temperature at SeaTac today was 66 degrees, the warmest December day in Seattle history (and, strangely, the same temp as on our visit to Death Valley in October). Here in North Bend, we got up to a toasty 67 degrees, the warmest it’s been since the middle of September.

Snow!(man)
I don’t think I’ve built a snowman in maybe half a century… Conditions were perfect this afternoon; heavy, wet snow and mild weather.
Snowy Morning
We were greeting with about 4 inches of snow this morning, our first really wintery day. After so much mild weather over the past year plus it’s seems really cold.
