I’m fascinated by bees. There’s something kind of mystical about them; the interdependence they have with flowers and how dedicated they are. Here’s one in our front yard today.
The peach drift roses we put in a year or so ago are so beautiful.
Spring is officially here. Our dogwoods are in full bloom; this Satomi Pink is absolutely covered in flowers.
Most of our rhododendrons are fading so I wanted to get at least one photo of one of our little “Sneezy” varieties. The leaves, as always, are a little nibbled on but the blooms have a wonderful color.
All of our rhododendrons have finally blossomed. I made a collage of some pics I took this morning before the rain and sleet.
We are often impressed with the lovely flowers at the local QFC. This morning, I had my new Sony DSC RX-100 iii pocket camera with me and I snapped a few photos as we headed for the checkout counter.
Trisha’s lilies are out and some of them are spectacular this year. I’ve been feeding them since April and the extra attention seems to have paid off. I love the color on this purple one;
